I saw Unearth and BurntByTheSun the other night at the BombShelter here in Manchester and they were amazing, especially Unearth. They played a good mix of old stuff and stuff from their upcoming 6/29 album 'The Oncoming Storm'.
In the year I've lived here I haven't ventured out to the BombShelter (which is about a mile down the road), but now I foresee it being a regular destination of mine. The layout of the club is exactly how I like it. The over 21 lounge situated right next to the stage so I can still see the show and do my thing without getting kicked in the forehead. The floor area was just the right size as well. If you live in the area and have never attended a concert there go and I promise you'll love it.
There was also a little cutie in the pit. Goin' crazy with the boys with no fear for her own safety. We spoke for a minute which of course included some obvious flirting on both our parts. After the show I saw her again outside, gave her an SG sticker with my name on the back and also a
on the cheek. Then I left and soon realized I'd probably never see her again. Not unless she checks out the site. Or Maybe I'll run into her again at the next concert I go to there. I hate when this happens.
