I will start this journal off by attempting to clarify a few things said by myself and others in my previous entry.

First off, what I said was not directed at anyone in particular, although it was inspired by brynji and doniac schvice. Don't feel like I was attacking you or anything, I was simply trying to express me opinions on the subject. Apex said, "...dont feel like a jackass just because it might not be favorable to Edea. Many types of music touch many types of people in many different types of ways. Music is a very touchy subject for just about everyone." That just about sums it up.

On somewhat of a side note, in my OPINION the term "nu-metal" is a far too broad generalization of the current metal scene. With no disrespect to bands like LinkinPark, PapaRoach, Trust Co., or Disturbed, comparing them to the likes of Mudvayne, Slipknot, Chimaira, or System of a Down is like comparing BonJovi, GunsNRoses, Poison, and MotleyCrue to bands like Tool, Pantera, Deicide, and Slayer. Again, this is my OPINION, so don't take it personally.

Let's take all further music discussion to the music boards as I see brynji's already done - good callwink

I think tomarrow I will simply post a vague comment or question. This is all giving me a headache.

Nuthin but love,
skullEdea

If you all are true LOTR geeks you would already have a ticket to the Two Towers. Mine came in the form of 'MovieCash' when i bought the l33tg33k edition of the Fellowship Of The Ring. Thats the one with the bookends and extra National Geographic DVD. Its good for up to $10.50 towards admission of the Two Towers by almost every major movie theater company in the nation. Apex is feeling the jealousy rise, oh yea. =D
Only 3 more days guys! Then its out in theaters!

damonsellars:
Genre specifications have become an art unto themselves. Some music reviews will spend an entire article saying how an artist is a combination of funk-metal techno and fusion rap, but never actually give any meaningful input about the band. Honestly, it seems like a waste of time if you enjoy music. I think some people just like to have classifications for everything.
