This week’s post isn’t about a survival kit or how to do something but instead a review of an amazing product I think would do well in anyone’s kit. This is the Luci light by Mpowerd. This light weight inflatable light is solar powered and collapses into a nice little packable disc. The reason why I recommend this light is the following reasons:
-Light weight (key when backpacking)
-Solar powered with short charge times and long retention periods. No need to carry extra batteries or worry about them going dead.
-Last in rain,shine or cold. I have one of mine tied to a clothes line in my backyard providing some lighting now for 8 months. We are getting into the colder weather now and it’s still going strong and the plastic is still looking good
-Cheap. At only 20$ a pop these are one of the cheapest lanterns around.
-Waterproof and it floats, so if you are setting the mood in your pool or out swimming in a pond in the woods.
