5 more days until my final final exam - a 3 hour test orally administered by 3 professors, covering romanesque through late baroque art and architecture. They put up slides, i talk. and the continuation of my academic (and at this point professional) career pretty much depends on me doing well. No stress. Well, no stress after noon on monday.
There's not a whole lot to write, since my brain is full of nothing but dates, buildings, sculpture, architects, patrons and city plans. You want to know about 17th century Rome, i'm your man. Normal conversation, i'm gonna fall a little short.
Although, i did just watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith - yes, the Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie flick, yes the blockbuster cheese flick; back off, it was a fun movie. More to the point, as i watched I realized that the musical leitmotif of the film is Joe Strummer - "Mondo Bongo" from Global A Go-Go. Good song, and it works well. Rock on, Joe, rock on.
