I saw the Pixies in Atlanta with MrSmead and some of our friends. It was...amazing. I don't usually get worked up over concerts, maybe giddy and happy, but by the end of the performance I almost cried.
Mmmm it was so good. I nearly lost it when they played Gigantic...love that song.
The openers could've used some work, though. Their drummer didn't move at all except his arms. Caveman Drummer, yessiree.
It was kind of funny, because my roommate and I stayed at the house of friends of friends, whom we've never met, and somehow we ended up getting the bed to sleep in where both halves of the mattress had separate soft/firmness settings. It was awesome, possum.
Ate some fuckin' good vegan food, too. My god I didn't want to leave, but everyone had to come back for work. Such. Is. Life. Isn't. It.
