Today was absolutely amazing, start to finish.
I started off the day really cold, my house is always freezing, and it looked, and felt, like it was going to snow. I was really rushed to get ready for the day since I didn't want to get out of my cold bed. That's going to get harder and harder as the months get colder isn't it? When I did finally get out of bed, get outside, and get on the bus, I felt wonderful! It was the first time in the last several months that I truly felt free.
School, school, school...
Dinner with a good friend, productive study session, and then the chilly wait for the bus.
Another bus picked me up and drove me around to wait for mine to come. While on this bus I started talking to someone who made me realize that there is hope in this area, there are people who are worth staying around for, even just for a little bit. When we got off the bus keeping us warm and each got onto ours I had this feeling like I should have got his number. Now his memory is haunting me. Single-serving friend? Or will I see this person again?
Then. Just now. A deer came into my front yard and started eating the shrubs. He's such a small little mule deer, I hope he does well through the winter.
Oh yeah.
And there was a foot of snow today.
