I have returned from the piles of sand and the mountains that surround it.
The weekend in Alamosa was awesome - stayed at a friend of my brothers who has a kick ass place about 2 miles down the road from the Sand Dunes. A weekend of climbing the dunes, running down the dunes, and mountain biking around Crestone Mountain & Kit Carson.
My neice is the happiest baby I've ever seen and my nephew Parker is a ball of non-stop energy.
The tragic sunburn was worth it - gotta go put some aloe on & crash
My Park Pass to the Dunes is aparently good for 7 days so if anybody wants to hit the sand I might be willing to rechararge & go at it again
