Yeah, I heard about the mom news. The party was under attended, but still fun.
We all went to another party on Mascher north of girard, where some punk kid trashed my car while it was parked. He keyed 2 doors ( one reads "faggot" and another " I love dick" - good to know stupid white-trash ghetto kids still have their priorities in order) , the hood and roof, flattened one tire, bent the tailpipe, broke a tailight.
It wasn't the caprice, it was a crapped out 220,000 mile civic wagon i've been driving, so no major loss. Still aggravating, though. I think the kids were the same ones drinking a 40 when we parked, and didn't like the looks of me or Destro, from Pittsburgh group, who was with me at the time. They didn't have the balls to start shit when we were there, condidering he's linebacker-size and threatening looking.

As far as the real estate thing goes, you could buy my whole setup for $340,000. Whatta deal, eh? I just got another contract signed....so let's see if this guy is more serious than the last deadbeat.

Are you kidding me!?! I buy anything Mac puts out the very first day it's in the stores. I like Slideling quite alot. I saw his solo gig here in L.A. a couple of months ago and I'm gonna go to a couple of the Bunnymen gigs in early November in the area. I am all about the fucking Bunnymen. I've been there since the beginning with them.

My favorite album tends to change. For years I thought it was Heaven Up Here, then I theorized that the more innocent, accessible and poppy songs of Crocodiles were most representative of peak Bunnymen. I have long believed that the high points of Ocean Rain, with their expansiveness and grandeur are probably the greatest work the group ever did, but the couple of clinker tracks on that album (Nocturnal Me, Yo-Yo Man) keep it from being the masterpiece it should have been. The classic singles on Porcupine (Back of Love, The Cutter) have always made it one of my faves, but overall, it is probably their most "difficult" album.
At this point, I would probably rank the Bunnymen/Mac/Electrafixion albums like this:

I would say that Mysterio and Reverberation are the only two that are spotty enough that I tend to skip over tracks, but even those albums have some great high points. I realize I'm a fan, but objectively, I believe that the Bunnymen's (and Mac's) body of work stands with the greatest in rock history. Not many groups or individuals have put out that many great albums and pretty much nobody has come back with such a string of high quality work after being broken up for nearly ten years. They are pretty much my Beatles. How do you rank the albums?
