I spent the weekend at an SCA event, Uprising in the kingdom of Artemesia. (I'll post pictures if I ever figure out how) My friend Brian (Brian O'Barnum in the society) was made a Knight and a member of the Order of the Laurel on the same day. Scadians will know how unusual and amazing this is.

Uprising is held near Idaho Falls on land owned by Duke Alan Youngforest. Its a really fun, mellow event. I needed to get my brain away from work for a while and this really helped.
