My final was cancelled tonight because the teacher is snowed in. I was going to head for Colorado tomorrow, but I'm thinking that Friday looks a lot better. If I were really lucky it would keep snowing through the weekend and I could skip Christmas altogether.

So, dinner with friends tonight and then a quiet solstice meditation.

I was supposed to be in Colorado right now. Instead I'm at home with a nasty cold that won't go away.

Happy Samhain, everybody. A little meditation, a glass of wine (oops, out of wine, a glass of scotch) and then to bed.

October 21 is almost over and Jehovah hasn't destroyed the Earth. Imagine my relief.

I woke up at 2:30 and found myself lying in bed thinking about work, which is terribly depressing. I'm about to go and try to get a little more sleep before the 5:00 alarm goes off.

Go give Amarena some love. The woman is a Goddess.

I shot in a muzzleloading rifle competition today. I won a couple matches and placed fourth overall.

Now I'm eating elk steak and spinach salad with some of the last tomatoes from my garden, and drinking Wasatch Polygamy Porter (Why have just one?).

Not a bad day.

Its raining, I'm sick, I got chewed out at work today, and I had a math test this evening.

Okay, thats enough whining.

I just moved the kitchen plants inside because it will probably frost tonight. I brought in a cherry tomato plant to see if it will keep bearing. Plus Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme, Sage, Parsley, and Chives.

Well, I didn't get picked for the jury. As soon as I told them I was a gunsmith I got quizzed on whether I was an anti-government extremist. (I'm not, at least not so much as my friends). It was an educational day, though.

I'm off to Casper for jury duty. With luck I'll be home tomorrow night, otherwise maybe not until Thursday. Civic duty calls.
