Its my birthday and this is what i was thinkin about....
IMMORTALITY
2. As I was sitting there, in the comfort of my mundane abode, I found myself pondering again.
Why are humans infatuated with Immortality? Why do they take for granted their adaptability and ever growing capacity to evolve? And they ARE infatuated with it, I assure you.
The two creatures that are most loved in human lore, are Vampires and Elves.Why? Because they are both beautiful, intelligent, powerful beings. And they both are Immortal to an extent. Vampires can be killed in specific ways, and in certain lore, Elves are Immortal as well....
I ponder why Immortality is so desirable for humans.
