Welcome one and all!
In honor of Yule, the circle of life and all those who by many names we know as the Goddess and the God I invite you to come to the Earth Based Spiritualist's open temple night at the Harbor Unitarian Universalist Congregation. This year with the time rushing upon us all the EBS is offering an open "Temple" for all who wish to come and acknowledge the Gods, the coming of the new light, or any spirit or wish that moves you. The Sanctuary of the HUUC will be adorned with an altar in honor of the Roman Traditions blended of course with our own little flair. There will be candles to light, there will be grain to offer, and water as well or feel free to bring your own small offering to honor that which you hold dear. Paper will also be offered for those that wish to give with words (All paper will be burned in a cauldron after the temple closes to send the wishes and energy out into our world.)
The aim of our temple is for all that wish to come and have some quiet time with what ever it is you seek and enjoy the candles and the soft music. The Temple will be attended by a temple guardian whom will offer blessings and cleansing to all that wish to enter. If any wish to speak aloud at the altar and share a brief wish, memory or a mediation they may do so with the blessing of the guardian.
The EBS Temple will be open this Friday, December 21st from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm. There will be a gathering for meeting, greeting, and sharing in the fellowship hall as well. Please feel free to bring a snack or your favorite beverage. If we get enough people perhaps we will do a little "Pagan" caroling as well.
