What if your consciousness or sense of self-awareness was just a tool created by evolution simply to facilitate the survival of a species? What if your thoughts, seemingly complex, are actually just electro-chemical transmissions between neuro-synapses.... What if they mean nothing? What if they're only there to give us the illusion of self sufficiency, to give us a sense of individuality, and all these, just to create goals and ambitions to further ourselves and our race?
On a side note... I turned the cold water on in the shower, and it came out hot...
