So...I went skiing this weekend. No broken bones but did find muscles that haven't been used in 8 years (the last time i skiied) and they punished me for exposing them. The skiing was spectacular actually. Big Bear has the best snow pack in years and literally 14+ inches of fresh powder fell as we arrived. A bunch of friends and i rented a great house up on the lake. We arrived Friday night, no wait who am I kidding we left from work which meant we arrived at 6am sat. morning. Woke up ate some started drinking as the rest of the people arrived. Made up some great drinking games with uno.

Next morning skiied all day. Used to ski fairly regularly and when I stopped I was regularly skiing moguls and such so I was pretty good...but it had been 8 years. Got shorter skis than normal so I would feel more comfortable and after the first run and not falling we went all out. Skiied a double black diamond by the end of the day. Of course double black here would barely be a black diamond in colorado or whistler BC. But I was so sore by the end and winded I had to stop. Couldnt hold my edges anymore.

Got back a few hours ago, snow had just started to really come down. Luckily I didnt get snowed in as I am back to the world of work tomorrow morning at 6:30am. Yeah me.
