Ok, so cocktail parties are actually fun. I wasn't so sure at first but it turned out to be a cocktail/birthday/surprise/all around good time...lots of friends I hadn't seen for a long time. It was fun. Doesn't sound as fun as the NYC party tonight, but, I still had a lovely evening. I even got to hang out with an ex and NOT GO HOME WITH HER...I'm very proud of myself cause it definately could have gone that way. I'm sleepy, good night
