Thanks, you guys! I won't be tattooing for a while, though; I'll be learning to pierce the first month or two. But then I can start earning a little money with that right away, so that's cool! I am, of course, drawing every day and (already!) doing custom designs for people, which is so cool. I get to go there 3-4 days per week. The owner (who I know really took up for me and fought for me) convinced all the other guys that they needed *two* apprentices, because they recently lost two employees. So the other apprentice guy, who had already started there, and I are splitting the days of the week. I do think they could use two apprentices... It's a *very* popular shop around here, and with good reason; they have four very talented artisits right now and a super clean, very cool-looking shop. Actually, it's not even in the town my family lives in... it's like a 20 minute drive, but when I was getting my most recent tattoo my husband and I visited every shop in like a thirty mile radius to check out the artists and everything, and we were super impressed with Bluebird, so I got it there. So this whole thing is really a privilage for me. I'm just, like, in shock, because honestly, tattoo apprenticeships with awesome artists don't just fall out of the sky, and this one really did unexpectedly fall into my lap!
