easter

I just got home from the tattoo shop, and things went really well. I was only supposed to stay from noon until 3:30 or so, but it was caught up in the drawings I was working on, and then when I was finished the owner said, "you know, feel free to watch us work for a while if you want..." and so I watched them tattoo until like 7:00. It was really fun. The owner liked my drawings right away, which is awesome... I was worried about it! I am pretty rusty at drawing these days. So I'm finished with that assignment, he liked it, and I have an appointment to start my left arm cover-up tattoo on Thursday. Yay, finally!

Also, he gave me a new assignment to draw realistic greyscale flowers. I asked him what they were for, and he was like, "nothing. just to do it, you know? Practice shading and stuff." So I think that's a good sign. Why would he assign me something if he weren't still interested in me? So yay for that, too.

I found out how cool he is today, too. He's like a genius. He attended a gifted boarding school at age 13, graduated at 15, and then graduated from college at 19 with a Bachelor's! wtf? How can people be so smart? Plus we have every interest in common. Yup, he should pick me.
