"I like nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living; it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities. "
-Dr. Seuss

Knowledge isn't the key thing anymore, it's the piece of paper you have saying you did "such and such". And getting that piece of paper is a giant obstacle course where you end up probably hating what got you into it in the first place.
What I suggest is contiune becoming ultra healthy, then in about a year or two you'll be able to strong arm, beat up and generally push around everyone else in industry who've subsisted on junk food and poor vending machine sandwiches. wink

In answer to your previous question in my blog, I write music and do sound for film, tv and video games. Mostly the latter. Which tends to mean I do all kinds of music. Every production has different requirements....

That's a lovely quote from Dr. S

Appreciation...gotta love it.

Today, the owner of the store *aka - my boss* Walked in, slightly glossy-eyed from his morning bong. And proceeded to tell me that he appreciates all the work that I do, can not conceive how I get it all done, and would like to give me a 20% increase in pay eeek Assuming that I want to accept it biggrin *does a little...

My day: not quite so fantastic as yours. But I can't really complain.

Congratulations!

My day has started really nicely with your comment on my blog - I knew I couldn't be the only person in this pagan polyworld! And definitely no complacency - not resolving conflicts doesn't mean doing nothing, it means creating the conditions for living life in all its richness with as little harm as possible being done.

Oh, also, I love your boots wink

This is kind of an odd topic, but I often forget how tall I am. I mean, I have been this tall *6 foot* since I was 13. I don't feel tall because I have been this same height for half my life, now.
It still catches me off guard when someone comments on it. "Wow...you're so tall! Are you standing on something back there?"...

i would not be intimidated in the least. i suppose tho that my opinion dosent't really matter i'm 6'7". if you were with me they would be making short jokes about you. what i hate is everyone asking if i play basketball or asking how the weather is up there. i've been this tall since i was 14. its not the greatest being the tallest man in your town.
sweetbutch:
tall is my fetish

well one of them

i'm a mere 5 11 and three-quarters or so, and have been with a tall strong honey most of my adult life

the times that i have been with smallish women has been odd (because of my conditioning, not that they are odd, they just feel odd to me) because my arms can wrap around them twice (or so it seems)

i like the feeling of someone being my equal--physically, emotionally, sexually and in an argument. i never liked being boss or bossed,

so a tall honey is just the ticket

when i see you tall girls on the street

my heart skips a beat

Not a whole lot of interesting things happened today, but I'm taking the advice of a cool chickie and starting a blog. What better day to start, than today?
Woke up, checked my email, logged onto SG, read an amazingly beautiful blog *by the afore mentioned chickie*, Realized that I had spent way too much time online and that I would be late opening the...
