ACtually, I have a pretty pessimistic view of the world. I also feel that humans have a tendancy to be selfish and greedy and don't think of the other person/creature/anything. I got the whole river idea from a book, actually. In Siddhartha, there's this part where the character sees that the "river is always moving and changing, but always the same." (Not the exact words, but I felt I should quote it.) And when I was sitting next to the water I realized that one-ness and unity of all things more than ever, and after experiencing those thoughts for myself and giving it my own interpretation, it turned into that jumble of words which u read the other day. So I was feeling a little more positive than usual....because most of the time I basically say that the world is fucked and it's all our fault. But anyway...u should read Siddhartha. It's by Herman Hesse. That book could change the world if everyone would read it.
