Well, don't know what to blog first. Christmas as fine, I got wall-E on dvd-- score! Just had a quiet day- I dragged the kids out of bed, (they're 15 and 18) , and here's me, their 25 year old sister dragging them out by their feet (yes, I had to. Lazy buggers
) They had no Xmas spirit, and kids being excited for Xmas kinda makes the day, so I overcompensated a tad till they perked up.
I got hmm..a bit of polish amber and a doctor who toiletry case, which was quite cool. I have a dalek sponge, lol. Oh, Alice got me a mug and socks, she was paranoid she'd got me old lady stuff, which was cute.
I got her a rainbow purse, which she was chuffed by. I got her a necklace xmas eve too, as me and stef went out and got her last minute shopping, which included a great teapot hunt.
Me and Alice went out tonight for cocktails, so we shuffled down from Intermezzo into the world of paying for drinks. We got a few drinks, and Alice makes fancy cocktails herself, so she's a great person to have with you in a cocktail bar. Me and Alice proceeded to smooch a lot, and come on, we were in Popolo, it has an arty crowd, so we didn't expect trouble- but these men were just perving- and coming over and hugging us both, and we were like 'eewwww'. This guy was hitting on Alice, then when i kinda staked my claim, he nudged me and remarked how nice Alice's thighs were, and 'I bet she tastes nice', then he said the same about me to Alice. And said we looked 'much in love'.... it's been two weeks. Never mind.
Even sarky barman was nice to me today. Fave barman made us two 'pillow talks', named by moi, he gets excited, as I think I'm the only customer. So we had loads of fun.
OH! High point of the day, Alice smooching aside, I met Paddy and we exchanged xmas pressies, as he'd been struck down by man flu xmas eve.I got him Starscream from transformers, and he got me a GRIMLOCK action figure! xx I've waited for 25 years to get one.... childhood ambition achieved!
How fab that we bought each other transformers?? Me and pads, or 'Pudding' as I've dubbed him of late, always try get each other toys, cos Xmas gets boring as you get older. I think he's actually 30 this year... so he needs toys. Obviously.
Paddy also took back the hooker comment from last week, when i bought my jacket, known now as the 'hooker jacket'. He usually helps me shop, and I picked it up while taking a shortcut through TK Max. I picked it up and he went ''nooooo.. Klara... noooo'. But now he says it's nice.

Ooh.. in other news, me and Alice are going to London!!!!!!!!! I have to go to see both a director I'm storyboarding for, an actor I'm looking at for my own film, and a producer for said film. But everyones been really slow at replying cos of Xmas. Argh!
Well, we're catching a midnight coach out of Newcastle, and we get to London at 7am. We're packing pj's, and going to get off the coach and drink coffee in all the service stations along the way. Is it sad to be so excited about a coach ride?? M and my sister did the same earleir this year, but this time it'll be me and my girl, and that's just fabber. I'm excited about snuggling to sleep and being slept on by a lapful of beautiful girl.
We're determined to photo diary the whole event, so you guys'll get to see how it went. We're going to do the bus tour of london, and find the womble place from 'Breakfast on Pluto'!! *cough* I shall of course be working at the same time
Oh, my producer caught me on BOXING DAY about my script deadline. WE got our A lister to give a poss yes, she just needs to see the spec, we also have ABC verging on yes too, so I'm getting bitten for the script. I will get it done.. honestly. I'm determined to do it by London on the 5th anyway.
I'm also working on art for my studio's documentary too, which is ok I guess, kinda boring. I need some more art jobs...
I might also make it into LA for a week or so on the 12th jan.. watch this space
