Wants: the entire series of "Wizards First Rule" by Terry Goodkind. My thigh tattoo. Nintendo DS Final Fantasy (or any good) games. Xbox 360. all the new video games coming out (FF13, Fable III, Assasin's Creed 2...). Some cool stationery to write my penpal on. Starbucks giftcard. new boots. All the Harry Potter's in Italian. and an iPhone.

Needs: Halloween costume.

Money: zero.



I have all these things that I want/"need" and on top of that bills to pay and I have no monies. Its really not that cool. I have a job but its a joke. I don't get much hours and even the ones I do get don't promise me any money because its hit or miss every weekend (I work at a bar). But I really don't have that much time to get a new job because I have all this stupid homework to do. blah. I wish there was an easier way to make money (don't we all??).

But besides that, I really want to be Lightning for Halloween (from Final Fantasy XIII). Here are some pics:

needless to say, she's pretty fucking hott. And she has a badass sword/gun. But I'm really not that crafty. I'd attempt it for sure, but that means I have to buy all the materials for it and once again...no dollars.

And another reason I want some cash, is for my tattoo.
I've had this idea of getting a thigh/leg tattoo for a while now and its becoming an obsession pretty fast. I want it to be all about fantasy and the books/games I play because those things give me a feeling that nothing else can and that I will ALWAYS love and turn to for comfort. Final Fantasy and Harry Potter pretty much got me through my first break-up (this past summer) and thats awesome. I think I owe them, yanno? So I wrote a list out of things I want incorporated in my tattoo, but I don't know if all of them will be possible. Here: sword (I want this to be the main thing, its going to be fashioned for me like if I was able to have a real sword forged), ship (like the Dawn Treader from Chronicles of Narnia), snitch (from Harry Potter), bow and arrow, the Ring (from Lord of the Rings), owl, and possibly fangs (because I love the book series that Trueblood is based off of). I'm not positive about the fangs yet, and I don't know if there are copyright issues with the snitch and the Ring. But either way, I want fantasy elements up the ass (not literally...). I was thinking some drawings of books could be incorporated too, maybe as fillers. And pretty much whatever else. I was thinking a dragon would be sweet but I wouldn't want it to be big and that wouldn't really work with a tattoo, so probably not. I want all these things to be incorporated somehow though, and have it all come together. But it's going to be expensive and it will take a few sessions so I don't know how I'm going to get that started.

If you like fantasy books, you should DEFINITELY read "Wizard's First Rule." Its a GREAT book and the writing is good. Its very interesting and keeps you turning those pages. I'm not sure how good the sequels are yet, but once I read them, I'll let you know.
Also- if you like Harry Potter, you MUST watch this A Very Potter Musical because its HILARIOUS. I swear to you that its one of the funniest things I've seen in a while and its very clever and well done. You won't regret it!
