Life keeps going...
not much better, not much worse, just going. I've decided to just take life as it comes for a while and see what happens.
I've been in my new apartment for a little over a month now and I love it, my new flatmate is awesome and it a great place. We spent a good part of last weekend turning our second floor living area into a movie room, which is just awesome, we have the projector setup so its like having a 150" TV and with a great surround sound system, plus there are now 4 couches in the roomso plenty of room for friend as well as stretching out and relaxing.
I'm taking a break from drinking for a little while (already been 2 weeks), most likely I'll drink again when I'm back in the states for Holidays. I was becoming an alcoholic and kinda scaring myself and other with the amount I was drinking, so the breaks needed to be put on for a little while. I'm excited about going back to the states on Thursday for a little while, I needed a bit of a break and I miss all my friends and family from back home. It will be good to be back and hopefully I can see all the people I haven't seen in a while (may need to take a side trip down to Florida for that though). In keeping with my taking life as it comes mentality I haven't planned much for while I'm home, so far all I know is I'm going to the FOX Xmas party in NYC the day after I get in and I will be spending Xmas with my family, everything thing else is pretty much open for me to do as I please, oh I am going to see the Dresden Dolls in Philly on the 28th...so I guess I lied.
Alright time to go to a BBQ and enjoy this bit of warm weather we are having before I go to winter.
