So this past weekend, I helped my friend make a short Zombie film, which should be pretty good once its all said and done. I was doing lighting, costume work, occasionally holding the boom, and took behind the scenes photos, which I don't think he wants me to show yet. It was lots of fun though and should look good since we had some help from one of the guys over at Weta Workshop who did make up on LOTR and he did some of the zombie makeup and let us borrow his insanely expensive digital camera, plus we had one of the stunt guys from LOTR and Kong and Narnia as one of the lead actors. The down side to the whole experience is I didn't really get time to relax this weekend so now I feel like I haven't had a day off in a week and a half, that and I got eaten alive by mosquitos.
So on top of that we are getting ready for the big party at our house, which is sounding more and more like it is gonna be huge, our initial guess is 100-200 people, but we invited the whole company so it could even be around 400 when its all said and done, however that is highly unlikely. I'm just hoping our carpets don't get destroyed.
P.S. I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day, mines almost over and was uneventful as expected, but for the rest of the real world its just getting started.
