So I went to try and get tickets for Joanna Newsome, who is playing here on Sunday, and of course it is sold out. I know its my own fault but it just figures any time someone from the states that I like comes its sold out, I really need to stop underestimating the size of this city. I could have easily gotten tickets several weeks ago but I like to put things off.

Oh well.......

In other news its hot in my house.

also my ex is coming to visit me in a couple of weeks with her dad (its his 50th birthday present), I don't know how to feel about it, I mean we are really good friends, but the whole thing is just kinda weird on some level and I think it always will be. I think it will be okay, there will just be some odd moments (I think largely do to the fact that her Dad is coming with her, since he really liked me and was upset that she broke up with me). But on the plus side she is bringing me some stuff I left behind and new CDs that don't cost $35

I'm totally random this evening, does that mean I'm going crazy, or just that I can't sleep?

Garden State is such a great movie, I've seen it thousands of times but its still good. There is something about it that just makes it perfect in every way.

In a related story, I'm continuing to live life as it comes, with a strong belief that everything will work out great in the end.
