Eddie Guerrero - 1967 - 2005

Today while sat in work hoping to get finished as soon as I could I got a phone call from my Dad, today he'd watched Smackdown, which he always records for me, and found out that one of it's top stars, Eddie Guerrero had passed away.

Well I hurried home, I couldn't believe it and wanted to see what had happened, I logged on to wwe's site and their it was, all the tributes and videos to Eddie.

Now I'm not having the happiest time of my life at the moment but I had to admit that the saddest thing I saw was news of this guy passing away, sure some people don't take sports entertainment - wrestling seriously, everyone knows it's faked but it's still fun to watch, hell they even market it as the worlds most violent soap opera.

I've watched this stuff for years, where others may have grown bored of it, and to see a character that in a sense I've known and been thoroughly entertained by over the years pass away is truly heartbreaking.

Eddie left behind a wife and two daughters and my thoughts and sincerest wishes go to them.

Rest in peace brother, I'll miss you.
