Hi, just want to mention that Miffy goes to Japan a lot, I think she is there right now. She works in San Fransicso for a Japanese company. She loves Japan and pines for it when she is not there. I really liked Japan a lot when I was there, but I was a little uncomfortable most of the time. (Try not sticking out too much when you are a 6'1 190 lb white guy with a tattoo on your arm in a country where any 1 of those things set you apart. The tattoo made everyone think I was a criminal I was told). I read something you said in SG Asian, and I have lived near Virginia Beach a long time ago, and let me tell you. You are never going to see the better parts of our culture in Virginia . But I can relate to your culture shock and home sickness. Hang in there.
