It was indeed, and returning to work with the sun still shining seem like such a waste! I hope you both had equally great weekends. my only issue now is i have training tomorrow and i still ache from the last session... Such a wimp, haha. :o{P>

hey man! got your message. The Floor POD is a fun device with a fair amount of customization. I found it lacked what I get out of stomp boxes particularly with regard to distortion pedals. There are lots of amp models, but few of those overdriven sounds were as flexible as a good pedal. I spend more time building DIY pedals lately, and have a handful of dirt boxes, which I prefer.

However, the POD does what it was designed for VERY well. I had a plethora of options and presets to go through all of the changes needed for the show. I bought the POD for a theater show I was working on, but at our first rehearsals, I gave the sound man the option and he asked me to play through the tube amp to keep with the early rock era of the show. I was pleased with his preference and set up a scaled down pedal board tailored for the sounds I needed. I missed a lot of the toys the POD provided like octaves and wah/volume pedal. If I were using one again, I would probably find a way to do it in conjunction with some of my stomp boxes and a better (faster) tuner. I sold it once I found out I didn't need it, but I kind of miss it.

thats pretty much what i was expecting to be totally honest :o)

I haven't used any floor effects (except Wah) for a while, i do have a T.C. Electronics running with My MESA, its mostly its for Reverb and Delay, but i really don't use must outside of the amp. The multi effects were for a Genesis Tribute tour i've been asked to do, and is more for ease of packing up and travel, cant use the MESA :o(

What are the pedals you have built? sound like it could be good fun. I've built guitard but not great with the Electronics. haha
