On friday my mom calls to tell me that my grandmother had a heartattack. So i get some shit together and take off for the hospital, a three hour drive to Dayton, Ohio, and when i get there my grandma is doing o.k. I talk to her, shes a little disoriented, which is to be expected of a 76 year old on morphine, but not too shaby. Latter i find out that while her sister was filling out her paperwork in the waiting room SHE had a heart attack. So my grandma and my great aunt are in the hospital. The doctors wont let anyone tell my grandma about her sister because it could cause her too much stress. So she has no idea her sister is seven rooms down dying of kidney failure brought on by the heart attack.
Well her sister died saturday morning and my grandma gets out tomarrow. Dont know what else to say about that.
