I'm a sad puppy. Even seeing Stormy at Dantes didn't make me feel better for long.

Mom's sick in the hospital. This is the last time the doctors are going to try to remove a blood clot. The next time she gets one, she's going to get the limb amputated. She has to go to rehab for a few months, and I'm sure within six she'll be fitted for a prosthetic leg. She won't be able to live alone anymore. I'm going to see her tomorrow-- even though my Aunt and Grandma told me not to.

Why don't they think I can handle this? I've lived with this shit for sixteen years. And twenty-some odd times I've seen my mom doped-up on morphine and cut open. I saw her Sunday and I can see her tomorrow.

James was sweet to take me to the Vetran's Hospital to see her. He also put up with my VERY Jewy Aunty and Gran. He didn't even run away when my Aunt told him that she already saw us married! Don't worry SG.com: Our children will still be Jewish!

On the fun side, I saw Pulse and bought a few new dunnies-- including a replacement for the one who's accessory I *accidentally* threw away. Stupid mini sharpie...

But my eyes are still sore from crying. Sigh. My poor little mummy...
