Ok, I did that Mary Kay thing today. Turns out this session was just skin care. We set up another appointment for next Tuesday for the full make-over. I guess this means I'll have to wait another week before I'm gorgeous. 
However, I did spend over $100 on eye shadow, mascara and skin care products. Sheesh, I'm a sucker! 
Oh yeah, and if anyone here would like a referal I could get some free products. So don't be shy boys and girls. Mary Kay makes some nice stuff...
In other news: I drew today. It didn't go so great, but it wasn't too bad either. I was copying a photo from Avant Garde Magazine, (anybody remeber that rag?), of a young woman with cat-eye glasses, leopard print bikini, fishnet stockings, and a boa constrictor around her shoulders. The photo was taken in 1971. Seriously, I think that girl was a predecessor to the Suicide Girls. I think I'm going to have to try and draw that again.
I think a friend of mine from high school has just moved to Portland. She loves SG. If she isn't a member of the PDX group I'm going to invite her to join, okay? She's cool: she's Native American and collects My Little Ponies. Oh yeah, and she does the best Betty Rubble laugh, ever...
I also emailed my boss to tell him that I'm applying for a different position at the store. I have to update my resume and fill out the application tomorrow. Wish me luck!
