After a good two years of working out and losing 40 pounds with all the determination in the world I hurt my upper back and shoulders working out and aggravating it at work. 3 and a half months later (now) after Physical Therapy, I don't find the same determination I once had and feel down in the dumps trying to find that spark and drive. I think I need to find a small goal to achieve my drive again, but I just can't seem to think of one.

I've had two spinal surgeries and most of my spine is fused. Yes there are good and bad days. I've worked pretty physically demanding jobs after my surgeries and it took a toll on my back. I've had days/months that I didn't and don't have the motivation to get back to the gym. At some point you'll just say to yourself "enough is enough. Let's get my ass in gear." But that doesn't happen till your body and mind is ready. Stay strong and hope your back gets back in health
