I should go to sleep instead of aimlessly commenting on pointless threads because I have nothing better to do. Obviously this is "why I did SG", for something to do with my insomnia. Only I'm not sleepy. And there's still mashed potato to eat. And they've stolen the speakers to my cd player
Rock in the Castle was disappointing, it was great to see the Wildhearts and Terrorvision again (and Hanoi Cocks were hilarious in just how much they were pissing off the technicians), but whoever thought it'd be a good idea to have a festival on the Scarborough coast in September was a fucking moron. It was freezing, and the sound on the main stage was shit anyway let alone with giant gusts of wind taking the music and spinning it into the sea. It was spectacularly badly organised, nobody knowing who was playing when and no official time list up anywhere, only one beer tent with a queue stretching right across the field, no hot vegetarian food (okay that's a bit picky, but it was freezing and I'd have killed for a veggie burger or some chips or just anything without beef or random whatever the crap is in sausages). And it was colder than an eskimo's arsecrack.
