If I have learned one thing in life, it's this:
Don't trust anyone who tells you that you can trust them and that they'll never hurt you.
Especially if you start believing them.
If you find yourself believing them, cut them out of your life before they have chance to tear out your heart, trample on it, and throw it back in your face.

(And also, I apologise for my slightly emo leanings in this entry. I don't want sympathy, I just want somewhere to vent that doesn't involve unspeakable acts of violence and a lengthy jail sentence)
