This weekend is Pride Weekend in Brighton and it is always fabulous. Last year's Pride was one of the best weekends I have in my memory. So this weekend was all set up to be even better, I have a whole bunch of people coming down from London and all over the country to join in the revellry and it was going to be a blast.
Unfortunately the reason I am here updating this sodding thing instead of out at the parade or dancing in a beer tent with my best friends is that if I move more than a couple of feet away from a handy vomit receptacle, disaster will ensue. Somehow in the last couple of days I have managed to become more ill than I ever remember being before in my life and moving anywhere from my room, or the bathroom at a push, is a bit of an adventure. Not a good adventure.
...I was going to use this idle time as an opportunity to update but I need to go and be copiously sick again. Dammit.
