Christmas shopping about finished. Bloody Amazon failed me and didn't send stuff so I had to go into Nottingham and buy it...there's a sodding German market taking up all the space that isn't already filled with morons, why? Do Germans have English markets at Christmas time? Filled with giant granny knickers and mouldy fruit and veg, and some cut price tracksuits off the back of a lorry. Great.

Took the gift bag suggestions and went and bought some. Fantastic. I got one with robots on it. I love it so much I may just keep it instead. Especially since I don't think the person I am giving it to shares my robot enthusiasm so much.

I'm at my dad's house for a couple of days, happily reunited with my cats. I may steal them back to Brighton in my backpack.

There is far, far too much cake around in this house than is good for me.
