why is it everytime a mechanic starts talking me to about my car i feel like im getting fucked?

i took my car to the dealership i bought it from to have them look at the front end, it appears the guy who owned it before me had a set of strut tower braces on the car, but when he sold it he took them off and apparently didnt tighten them up properly so now one of the bushings is coming out.
The mechanic at the dealership must have thought i was a complete idiot because he tried telling me that everything is fine, and the car is pulling because of bad alignment, eventhough he SUPPOSEDLY re-aligned the car before i bought it..
so being the smartass i am i set out to prove him wrong and had him put it on the lift, so i could point out the problem to him.. with a very reluctant sigh he agreed with me and now hes in the process of fixing it.

...i can only imagine the bullshit im going to go through when i try to explain to him the reason the engine is tapping is because of the aluminum heads..
