I've been debating whether or not I should go see Alkaline Trio for a few weeks now. The factors had been the money it would cost for the ticket and whether or not my friend was gonna go. Well everything got answered yesterday.
I got my weekly email from the local radio station and through their points thingy they had a sweepstakes where you could buy chances to win tickets to the show and passes to a private acoustic performance by the band. At the same site they have the option where you can just pay x amount of points to win a prize but often don't have too much in there. Well this time they did! So I'm gonna get to go to Alkaline Trio with one of my best friends and see them do a private acoustic show beforehand, all for free!
I'm very excited. We have to be at the House of Blues at 2:30 in the afternoon to meet with the street team people so they can give us our tickets and let us backstage. Not sure how long the acoustic thingy is gonna last and if we get to actually meet the band or not. Then the show starts at 7 or 8, i forget. I'm really lucky when I want to be.

I've gotten to meet a lot of kewl bands and party back stage with them when I was younger thanks to my dad owning two radio stations. Fun times were had. Now he's enjoying his retirement
