I just got home from an MTV taping with Fall Out Boy. It should air in a few weeks or months or whatever. The show was good until during "Grenade Jumper" when a security guard and one of those guys you see at venues with the earpieces in went through the huge crowd to take some girl out. I don't know if she was taking pictures or what but they went and took her out. That wasn't the bad part. While the earpiece guy was talking to the girl, someone bumped into the security guard and he said something to the effect of "Don't fucking bump into me!" all tough. Then on their way out I guess the crowd all pushed and some guy sorta shoved the security guard and he then started to grab the guy all violently (I'm not sure exactly, I missed a lot of this part). Then I guess the guy didn't like being grabbed or didn't know who was grabbing him (there were tons of people around it could have been just any random dude) so he pushed him away and the security guard literally grabbed him around the neck and started choking him with both hands. The earpiece guy was grabbing the kid back and then this little skinny kid pulled the security guard off of the kid and held him back. The guard then had words for the kid who had pulled him off and the one who he fought with was taken out.

If the band had seen this going on I bet the show would have been completely stopped. The security guard was completely out of line and he could have killed that kid had no one stepped in. I've been at shows as both a participant and a security guard and there's a line you're not supposed to cross. This guy completely lost his cool. He probably won't even be reprimanded for it too.
