This morning was the burial. Everyone is just really happy to have everything over, it's been a stressful 5 days. We had 2 viewings yesterday, one from 1-4 and one from 6-8, when I got home i was EXHAUSTED like I had worked for 14 hours straight.

A good number of people came, it's hard since a lot of the family is in New York and a lot of my grandparents' family is either in Miami, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, etc.

I didn't cry at all during this whole ordeal until today. Seeing my grandfather say goodbye one last time before we left and they shut the coffin broke my heart. He was talking to her in Spanish and crying but all I could make out was "Mi Amor." She was his whole life for 56 years and that kind of love isn't that easy to find anymore. I started crying right then and there. It's been so hard on him.

I'm trying to take things day to day. After the burial they had everyone over to my grandfather's house for food and I just came home and relaxed. It was the first time I had the house all to myself in I don't know how long. I needed the rest. I'm heading over there in a few minutes again.
