So the birthday didn't end up getting cancelled, just stretched over 3 days instead.
Monday was dinner with my parents and then cake with a few more family members. Then I went for a spur of the moment trip to a restaurant for a few drinks. The restaurant is one of those who is famous for giving you overpriced drinks where you can barely taste the alcohol. 3 drinks later, I was $18 in the hole. No joke.
Tuesday I went on a little birthday shopping spree at Best Buy. Got the deluxe version of the Manson "best of" with the bonus dvd featuring all the videos. Season 3 of Futurama as well which I have been spending most of my time with lol.
Thank you again for all the assorted birthday wishes from everyone. Too bad it can't last another week lol.
