Had a wedding to go to this weekend. Actually had a date for a change. It was a friend from college who was marrying his girlfriend. I was the only one from the college (well besides my date) who actually was there so i didn't have to worry about running into anyone and having to do the stupid "what have you been up to?" bullshit that always goes on.
I think my date had too much fun. Rob Thomas was there (long story) and she was FREAKING out when she first realized it was him. But thankfully she waited til after dinner to finally go meet him. I was introduced myself and had a beer with him. He actually remembered my name when I ran into him in the bathroom later on.
My date wound up catching the bouquet, keeping the garter and taking home the centerpiece. The whole day went well except for a little thing at the very end. Hearing her say "I have the most amazing boyfriend ever" as I'm backing out of the parking space was a huge ouch moment for me since I'm obviously not her bf.
