The life we lead is not our own
we borrow from another
but we chose to act as if not so
and claim to be the owner
we lie we cheat we steal we hate
we try to make it through
but nothing can escape our fate
that truly we are doomed
from birth we die at least our flesh
the same we claim eternal
but are we gone or better yet
are we born immortal?
the answer lies within our faith
that not all we know is true
when we give back the borrowed on that given day
