i am so high right now. but not in a fun, "i just took a big ole hit off a crack pipe" kind of way, more like a "i have been breathing in nothing but paint fumes all fucking day and i am totally hallucinating my ass off right now" way. myself and the nice young lady who calls herself my girlfriend are painting what will become our future bedroom a couple different shades of blue and it's coming along pretty well, except that this fucking house isn't ventilated superbly well so even with a couple fans running you still get a little geeked out from time to time.

AND...

i have the hiccups. might sound minor but my hiccups tend to last for a few days at a time - do you know what that's like, to fall asleep with the hiccups and wake to find that they HAVEN'T GONE AWAY? it's a test, is what it is. that's how i have to look at it or i'll fucking run into traffic. it's a test of my ability to keep my shit together while enduring unpleasant situations that i apparently can't do anything about.

okay my head is starting to clear so maybe i'd better get back to work - more later perhaps, or tomorrow. and the question remains...will anyone ever read this?
