have i mentioned i hate being sick? i hate being sick. twice in one fukkoff season? what the hell?
anyways, 3rd night in a row of not being able to sleep cuz of this damned cold...so i get less than 2 hours of sleep before jenner n i are off n running to guitar center hollywood for zakk's induction into the rockwalk. we got down there around 7:30am n there were about 5 people there already. good grief we had a long time to wait until the shit got started at noon. good thing we had both seen hostel and we could cuntinue to sit there n make fun of the movie*.
i had checked the weather last night n according to yahoo it was supposed to be 68f. mmmm, no, try alot closer to somewhere in the fukkoff 80z. i hate hot n there were all these guys there showing how badass they were by wearing leather jackets, lmao. i was wearing a tshirt n dying in the heat, so i have to imagine underneath those leathers were mini air conditioners.
after what seems like an eternity, jim ladd from klos starts talking and introducing people that have a lil sumtin to say about zakk. pretty cool. zombie told a funny story about zakk, the hell's angels and sturgis. i have no idea what ozzy said (i was looking for the subtitles...), and lemmy didn't say shit, just stood there looking cool as fukk...
then zakk came out, oh holy hell. just cool as always. he talked n he stuck his hands in cement n talked some more n then he dissappeared inside guitar center never to be seen again. fukking press got the best seat in the house. they have telescopic lenses...let them stand to the fukkin side! dead center should have been for the fukkers that had been standing there since before 8am...
i was so psyched for zakk, he deserves this honour! wish he could have stuck around for the determined ones (like me n jenner, lol) but he did say he was working on new music, so that is always a good thing. makes me happy that zakk puts out as much music as he does since my boy zombie takes forever to put out anything new.
got to meet n talk to mike inez ~ that was cool. can't wait for the pics to be developed (i need a digital camera in the worst way) n they will be posted here as soon as possible!
*hostel...um, yeah. if i never see bolt cutters or a milwaukee drill again ill be pretty damned happy, but...since i work where i work i think i'm gonna be seeing lots of both... this movie was not funny. i spent a good portion of it looking at mars' shoulder... but once i found out that jenner had seen it, it was hilarious! we spent most of last night n today quoting it and house of 1000 corpses... oli was the best character in hostel n of course, he was the first dead... "of course my horse", "i am the king of swing", and the best one..."i am so glad i shaved my balls for this! i have the smoothest balls in uzbekistan!". and after we were done quoting oli...we move on to our other favorite...starting spouting off lines from otis..."you ever work? i'm not talking about scooping ice cream to your shit heeled friends over summer break wearing socks with mickey mouse on one side n donald duck on the other!" we were in stitches, the people around us were prolly backing away from us...fukk'em if they don't think otis was funny!
