so im pretty sure i just had the best day of my life!! or at least the best new years day for sure. i stayed home aaalll day, and was able to spend some quality time with my friends :

our day began with a scrumptious brunch:

me trying desperately to open a bottle of bubbly for our mimosas....i am am positive that this was the most difficult bottle of champagne i have ever opened, and i think i should know seeing i opened about 50 nye


finally, i broke the cork in half and busted it open with my corkscrew.....so sara quickly got to the pouring


we had a lovely family brunch at the table very proper like


and then we got not so proper...

after our yummy breakie, we decided to drain our spa. we couldnt figure out how to do it right, so we opted for the bailing method







later we played some pictionary


which hil and i won!!!!...woo woo...here is us doing our victory pose


we made dinner later....yummy!! chicken tacos, rice and beans





we also baked some peanut butter cookies!!

I also really just wanted to photograph my friends...i think the pics turned out really great. im so glad my friends are comfortable in their skins







so yes boys and girls, i had a superb day!!! im so glad to be in my new house with my friend and that i am able to have such cool times, finally. it took a while to settle, but now that we are all set in our new space, we plan to have many more days like this
