So I decided to cancel my account on SG today.
Long story short, I've been here for two years. I have ten friends. And its not because I am anti-social.
I'm not sure what makes the people of Suicide Girls tick. I know that everyone here has some kind of love for naked girls with body mods or some such thing. There really isn't any other substantial reason for this site to exist otherwise. And to be honest with everyone, I have met a fair share of folks here that are kind and honest. With that said...
I have never in my life seen such a collection of self-centered uppity little bitches as I have since I joined Suicide Girls. You can't be accepted by many here if you don't post a blog every two hours. Or if you don't already have 200 friends. Or if you don't have a mohawk or some other emo-esque haircut. Or pics of you taking pictures of yourself, all MySpace angled, with your tats showing. Or (and this one kills me) if you don't have a set of tits. As much as I have tried to make friends and be social here, I am either ignored or belittled with every comment I make. At least it feels that way. And I don't pay my hard earned money to be treated like shit. If I wanted that, I'd go to an SnM dungeon or some such bullshit.
Again, I really have met quite a few nice folks on Suicide Girls. But not nearly enough to outweigh the bastards and assholes... and many of the STAFF... to warrant a continuation of me giving said asshole staff another fifty bucks every year. So I am off.
I hope that everyone I have met (and I do mean EVERYONE) has a happy and healthy life. Take care of yourselves, because no one else will do it for you.
