Another new, brief update.
1. I haven't yet had an opportunity to meet many of my SGNC friends. And it looks like I probably never will. Sorry, folks, but I am packing my shit, grabbing my wife, and moving back to Florida in November.
2. The FAA has FINALLY contacted me. TWICE! First was about a job on Long Island in New York, but more recently, at Orlando International Airport. At first I accepted the NY job. But the Orlando job pays just a little bit less, but with a MUCH lower cost of living. It was kind of a no-brainer, especially since I have a bunch of family in Jacksonville and Tampa.
3. The really big news... WE'RE PREGNANT!!! Right now Becky is entering the second trimester. We'll find out next Wednesday if it is going to be a boy or a girl. This, of course, means that it makes even more sense to move to Florida rather than NY.
