I wish that I could choose what to dream about. Or at least influence them in some way....because I always want my dreams from the night before to continue to the next night.
It would be like some epic subconcious dreamlife that would parallel my own concious life, but in a dreamstate, and every time I fell asleep, it would pick up where it left off.......
Ah, fuck it, I'm just pissed because I can't remember what I drempt last night.....I tried to go back to sleep so they might start up again, but no luck......

I can't tell you how many times I've thought that.

Be careful what you wish for. I think a recurring "serial dream" would play havoc with your perception of reality. It may be that we don't string our dreams together because it interferes with survival in some way. Or more likely it's because our dreams have no basis in reality. Every night we go quietly insane, and in the morning most of us get better.
