birthday wednesday! i'm so excited!
it's been a great month.
i'm striking out left and right trying to meet girls the usual way, so today i signed up for a speed dating thingy in july. i'm pretty excited about it. i am optimistic that maybe i'll meet someone and get to hang out a bit.
i've never done a LOT of dating, but i don't think i've ever gone through a dry spell like i have the last 15 months. it's kind of disappointing, i'm not really looking for anything in particular. i just want someone to spend some time with. just hang out, have some drinks, watch some movies. just female companionship.
there's this really awesome girl at work that i'm really into. of course, as usual, she's seeing someone. i'm not sure if she'd be into me or not, but not being single makes it difficult to date. it just doesn't seem like there's single people int he world anymore.
anyway wish me luck on the speed dating. maybe i'll get somewhere with that.

I haven't really listened to their latest album yet. I have this thing where I don't like listening to albums of bands I listened to in high school. I've done the same with Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson, NIN etc.. I'm scared I'll hate their new music and then I'll be disappointed when I listen to the old stuff.. ya know what I mean?
