i had another bum ass weekend. mostly.
friday some guys i work with (i work for the air force) called me to come hang out with them at the dorms. they were all just getting loud and drunk. as much fun as sitting around boozing is, i got a rousing game of beer pong started. i haven't played that since i was 20 years old. i ended up getting sloppy drunk with the 21 y/o dorm kids. a good time was had by all. after a brisk walk (read slow stumble) to the bar down the street we eventually cleared the joint out with our spirited karaoke. such favorites as: stnad by your man, family tradition, bobby mcghee, bohemian rhapsody (yes we fucking pull it off. we got a standing ovation for that one), and the favorite of the night Straight to hell, a drivin and cryin classic.
my saturday was much less eventuful, and even about as much fun as a rectal exam. two friends were supposed to come over to my house and watch a movie. at some point during the 10 minute drive from their house to mine (they are a couple), a major argument kicked off. one of them ends up jumping out of the car at a stop light. i suppose he walked home in the rain. i asked if he wanted a ride (via text message) several times, and got no response. the best part is, i ordered a couple pizzas for us all to eat while we watch the movie. neither of them shows up now i'm stuck with a fridge full of greasy yummy fattening wonderful pizza.
so there i was all day sunday eating pizza whenever the mood arose. i'm hoping maybe i cancelled it out. everytime i ate a couple slices i'd hit the weights. having them in the house is wonderfully convenient. much better than expecting myself to go to the gym 2 or 3 nights a week. plus i can spend 90% of the day sunday sitting around in my drawers, which i truely enjoy.
